Dr. Rahul Aggarwal is a specialist in genitourinary cancers at UCSF, where he leads the STAND Clinic and focuses on reducing the toxicity of hormone therapy for prostate cancer. His research involves novel cancer treatments and advanced imaging techniques to predict treatment responses. He completed his medical training at Northwestern University, followed by a fellowship at UCSF, and has been recognized with the ASCO Young Investigator Award.

Vanessa Pegueros

Vanessa is a seasoned business leader with over 30 years of experience managing technology, security, privacy, and risk across various industries. She serves on the boards of LivePerson, BECU, Prisidio, and others while being a venture partner at Flying Fish Partners, focusing on AI/ML startups. Vanessa has gained expertise in activist processes, CEO transitions, and M&A, notably through her role in the $2.1B sale of Carbon Black to VMware. Her leadership at DocuSign, including its IPO, emphasized security as a key differentiator. Ann Abbott is a landscape Architect and successful small business owner with over 25 years of experience in the architectural design field, primarily in the Bay Area. Specializing in the design of campuses, parks, sports fields, and family residences, she is passionate about creating beautiful and functional private and public outdoor spaces that enhance community and family life.
As a project manager and multi-business entrepreneur for 15 years, Ann has navigated the challenges of running her own business while training, managing, and mentoring staff to foster a collaborative and productive work environment. Her strong problem-solving skills and commitment to community outreach reflect her dedication to making a positive impact beyond her design work. She brings strong collaboration skills and a keen problem-solving ability to every project, ensuring that clients’ visions are realized while quickly addressing any challenges that arise.
