Our Mission
Living-Beyond Cancer restores the well-being of caregivers through personalized
wellness programs, empowering them to thrive as they support others.
Caring Deeply
for the Caregivers
Living-Beyond Cancer is a start-up nonprofit organization (501(c)(3) that seeks to provides holistic wellness services to cancer caregivers, specifically via expert counseling, premium fitness and wellness programming. We support the diverse needs of Cancer Caregivers such as nurses and paraprofessionals whose kindness transforms medical treatment into life-saving healing for their patients
Cancer is a devastating disease; it debilitates the mind, body, and spirit of millions of people globally. It does the same for those nurses and paraprofessionals that care of cancer patients. But caring for those with cancer is not without hope, either for the patient or the professional.
When founder Kevin Allen, a personal trainer and former police officer from SanFrancisco, was diagnosed with Stage Four metastatic prostate cancer in 2016, it abruptly halted his life. He was thrust into an arduous fight for survival.

Our Solution
Living-Beyond Cancer was founded to fill in the gap of lack of support for caregivers. Through tailored counseling, wellness and fitness programs for cancer nurses and paraprofessionals, Living-Beyond Cancer wishes to create an extensive support system that addresses caregivers’ physical and emotional needs, which in turn better supports the care they provide to their patients
Using personalized programs, our virtual and in-person offerings seek to improve caregivers’ physical strength, mental balance and well-being, and overall quality of life. We stand on three pillars that we believe that refresh and rejuvenate Cancer Caregivers to be able to not only perform better on the job, but live better in their personal lives.

But Kevin had a
mantra: “Get back up.”
Kevin’s unshakable resolve and generous support of his personal and professional caregivers kept him going in his darkest hours. Through an grueling treatment and recovery that continues to this day, he discovered his passion and identified a critical gap in hospitals that care for cancer patients, one that could mean life or death to both patients, and the nurses and paraprofessional that work with them:
Who supports the CAREGIVERS whose transformative compassion and devotion restores life to their patients?
Why Get Involved
During the COVID-19 pandemic, our Healthcare workers were heroes in every single sense of the word. We came out for them, honored them each night with applause, banging wooden spoons on pots and pans, and this showed our Caregivers that YES, we saw them and their heroism, and YES, we appreciated their tremendous sacrifice on our behalf.
After the pandemic was over, then what? Many Healthcare workers, still taking care of record numbers of patients with COVID and related diseases, were still overworked, and often underpaid, as the salary supplements that they were given during the pandemic were taken away. Because of this, hospitals and other healthcare organizations saw record numbers of doctors, nurses and paraprofessionals resign not just the jobs, but the profession. We must shore them up so that they can keep us going. We must assist them body, mind and soul to replace and refresh their awesome passion for healing others by starting to heal themselves.
Our work will be made possible by the generous contributions of donors like YOU, who believe that strengthening the PEOPLE that power our health care infrastructure helps us all.. Please help us support caregivers as they care for those who need it most

Why People Give to Living Beyond Cancer
Many of us have cared for a loved one battling cancer — or know someone who has. Donating allows you to support caregivers who often sacrifice everything for the people they love.
Your gift directly provides caregivers with wellness resources, breaks, and support systems that help them stay strong for their families. You see real lives changed.
Giving to caregivers feels good — because you’re helping the hidden heroes who rarely ask for help themselves.
When you give, you join a community of compassionate people standing together to make sure no caregiver is left behind.
If you believe in kindness, service, or faith-driven giving, your donation is a way to live out those values.
Many donors give in honor of a loved one — leaving a legacy of care and love that continues beyond their lifetime.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, your donation is tax-deductible. You get the joy of giving and financial benefits.
If you’ve ever been supported by others in tough times, giving is a way to pay it forward and bless someone else.

Every day caregivers burn out while putting themselves last. Your timely gift can mean the difference between exhaustion and renewal.
